5000 Euro for four organisations
rescue-tec helps Leberecht, youth centre, hospice and palliative network
Helping is the business purpose of rescue-tec. But the head of the fire brigade shop for aid organisations, crafts and companies not only helps with the right equipment in emergencies, but also supports institutions that do good for others.
Yesterday there was once again presents at the company headquarters in Ennerich. Managing Director Jörg Hergenhahn generously donated 5000 euros. The Leberecht Foundation of this newspaper and the Kinder- and Jugendhaus Funk in Runkel are once again among the beneficiaries, each receiving 1500 euros.
For the first time, the Limburg-Weilburg Palliative Network and the Anavena Hospice in Hadamar will each receive 1000 euros - and there will be an occasion for this. Hergenhahn experienced the good work of the people who accompany terminally ill people on their last journey until the death of his mother in March. "I usually deal with helpers in action and was impressed how quietly help is given there," said Hergenhahn.
He explained that it was important to him to do something in the region. This time, with the four recipients of the donations, he covered areas from the beginning to the end of life.
The managing director used to be an active fireman in Eschhofen. Because he had no time for this task after the foundation of rescue-tec, he now wants to get involved in another way.
The representatives of the hospice, the children and youth centre and the Leberecht Foundation thanked him and assured him that they will use the money wisely.
