For the first time, S-Gard made all openings, at the neck, sleeves, waistband and pant legs, impervious to particle access with elastic bands or a a closure made of Nomex Nano Flex-Material supplied by
DuPontTM. This dense functional material is very heat- and flame-resistant, highly elastic and breathable. The cuffs prevent smoke gas particles getting into the suit and being absorbed by the skin.
