All Colsman firefighter helmets from series 013 onwards are suitable for machine cleaning.
They can be easily cleaned in an industrial washing machine or basket washer. It is no longer necessary to dismantle the helmet; the helmet can be placed in the machine complete with interior, visor and neck protection. Simply place the helmet in this washing bag during cleaning to protect it from mechanical damage.
Note: if the number of helmets to be cleaned is low, they can be washed together with the turnout gear.
