S-CUT XC-E, X-treme Cutter, has a bigger gap between the plastic support and handle than our other models. This makes it extra useful since it can manage cutting even in thicker fabrics and materials.
In emergency situations it is a fast way to remove the patient’s clothes in order to expose injuries without needing to change the patient’s position which could inflict further injury or unnecessary pain.
S-CUT replaces scissors, knifes and similar tools. Ordinary fabrics as well as leather belts, zippers and heavy outerwear can be easily cut. All you need is a free edge of the clothes where you can start the cut. It is designed for optimal ergonomics and provides an excellent grip. Using scissors in heavy materials will most often require a lot of effort. The S-CUT is used with a pulling action requiring minimal effort.

Vor kurzem habe ich den S-Cut bei einer Trauma-Reanimation verwendet. Motorrad gegen PKW. Während ein Kollege einen Ärmel der Lederkombi mit der Schere aufschnitt, habe ich den anderen Ärmel sowie beide Hosenbeine geöffnet. Der S-Cut ging durch das Leder wie ein heißes Messer durch Butter.
Spitzenqualität! Habe es direkt mal einigen Leuten in der Wache präsentiert und auch sofort positive Rückmeldung erhalten. Eine sehr gute und ungefährlichere Alternative zur Schere.
Kann ich nur empfehlen für jeden Notarzt oder Notfallsanitäter. Sollte zur standartausrüstung gehören. Damit kann man sehr schnell und ohne Probleme die Kleidung bei einem Trauma-Pat. Entfernen.
