The IO Trainer is designed to simulate intraosseous (IO) needle placement. It contains tactile landmarks on the proximal tibia to facilitate accurate site localization. The 3D printed bone is made of silicone and provides realistic resistance when the needle first enters the bone marrow cavity. It is encased in polyester material and is attached to the manikin with Velcro fasteners.
This tool can be reused between 80-100 times.
