Ruth Lee offers training manikins for a wide range of requirements
The MANV training manikin is an inexpensive, lightweight training manikin designed for large-scale exercises/drills of major incidents where many victims are needed. Like all Ruth Lee manikins, it is very robust and can be placed under pieces of concrete or vehicles.
The height rescue training manikin is suitable for rescue training on wind turbines, in stage and scaffolding construction, telecommunications or similar. It is reinforced in the torso area and can therefore sit in a rescue harness. In order to simulate the rescue as realistically as possible, the weight distribution is anatomically correct, as with a real unconscious person. The manikin is available with different weights.
The mountain rescue training manikin is designed for rescues from higher altitudes. Ruth Lee developed it in co-operation with the Scottish Mountain Rescue Service. It is lighter and comes with a practical rucksack so that it can be easily transported into the mountains for training. In addition, RECCO reflectors are integrated into this dummy to make it easier to find. The police training manikin can be used to train the evacuation of unconscious people who have been handcuffed. It is intended for training police, prison staff, security and safety personnel.
There is also a special training dummy for the prevention of violence. It is used for training in psychiatric institutions, prisons, police and security. It can be used to train a wide variety of techniques to prevent violence from escalating.
The patient handling manikin is the perfect training partner for the correct handling of patients with restricted or immobile mobility. Like all Ruth Lee manikins, it also has anatomically correct weight distribution. This allows staff to practise handling that is easy on the joints and back. Ideal for hospitals, nursing homes, people training to be nurses or carers for the elderly and nursing schools.
We offer heavyweight manikins in 3 different classes for practising the rescue of obese people. The XL manikin weighs only 90 kg, but has the girth of a very overweight patient. The XXL manikin, on the other hand, weighs 180 kg and the 3XL manikin even 260 kg. Alternatively, Ruth Lee has also developed a suit that can be filled with water and pulled over a normal all-round manikin. This allows the manikin to gain up to 150 kg in weight.
