Holster, Pouches for Belt and Shoulder, Rope Bag
How do I find the right holster?
The selection of holsters for fire brigades, rescue services and other aid organisations, but also for industry or authorities, is very large. It is not easy to decide which holster is the best and most suitable in terms of size. Everything needs to be stowed well and securely without too much space.
The first question you should ask yourself as a user is what goes in it. With fire service holsters for additional equipment, there is a basic distinction between holsters for rescue shears and those for a rescue knife.
To prevent the rescue shears from puncturing, shear holsters come with a reinforced base and are often slightly deeper. Holsters for rescue shears are Limburg, Cologne and Heidelberg. A knife holster requires neither the reinforcement nor the depth.
Next, it is important to consider whether you want to take other equipment with you in addition to knives or scissors?
A pure knife holster is the Multipocket. There are different versions, such as compact, small or black (without reflective strips). The Multipocket, compact is, as the name suggests, very compact and only holds one knife. The multipocket, small is somewhat larger and can also hold a UK lamp or something similar.
If a fire escape bonnet is to be carried, a fire escape hood holster is recommended, either with pockets for additional accessories or just like that. There are variants for one or two bonnets, with or without packaging or with additional equipment such as a sling, rescue knife and more.
Many holsters are fitted with reflective strips. This has the advantage that they can be seen more easily. However, depending on the application, this may not be desirable. That s why the Holster Hessen and the Multipocket, black have a discreet black look, just as you would expect for police, security or searches.
In contrast, the holsters for technical assistance (TH VU) are yellow so that they stand out from the others and can be grabbed immediately in the event of an emergency.
Which filling in which holster?
We offer many holsters as a set. Our suggestions can be found in the holster sets category. But there are also often ideas in the holster text as to what fits inside. Of course, completely different combinations are also possible. If you are not sure whether everything fits into the holster you have selected, please contact us. We will be happy to advise you
How do I avoid confusion?
Individual labelling of the holster has various advantages: If several holsters with different equipment are loaded on a vehicle, the contents can be determined just by looking at the outside of the bag. This means that the tools can be organised more quickly and mix-ups are prevented. It is also possible to clearly mark where the holster belongs.
To complement your equipment, we also have detector pouches for Memo, Quattro 96, Motorola Firestorm and Skyfire, as well as a wide range of radio pouches in our shop.
