Der Ring ist ziemlich leicht zu montieren, wiegt jedoch im vergleich zu herkömmlich eingebundenen Schlauchen ziemlich viel. Zudem kann es öfters vorkommen dass sich der Schlauch bei der Montage zwischen den beiden Ring-teilen zwickt und dann nicht ganz dicht ist.
