PETZL FREINO TWIST-LOCK Carabiner, with brake hook for descender

The FREINO Z-carabiner has a brake hook to increase or control the brake friction during abseiling or lowering.

• the brake hook provides additional friction for heavy loads in order to better control the descent speed (e.g. when rescuing two people). - The rope is simply inserted into the brake hook without opening the carabiner.
• keylock system prevents the carabiner from snagging.
• TRIACT-LOCK automatic locking system with 3-way release.
• suitable for use on the harness and on the anchor point.
• when inverted, the carabiner protects the I'D S, I'D L, I'D EVAC (1) and RIG (2) self-braking descenders from falling when transferring from the gear loop to the ventral eyelet or anchor point.
