AWG Wire Mesh Basket with Quick Locking Device, nominal size DN 100

Protective wire mesh baskets generally serve to protect suction strainers and suction lines from contamination through leaves, twigs or stones from still or flowing water and thus protect them from blockages. The new AWG protective wire mesh basket is equipped with a special quick fastener. This is opened, the protective wire mesh basket pulled over the suction strainer, the fastener's clasp closed – and the protective wire mesh basket is locked in place and ready for use!

The compact design of the protective wire mesh basket and the new mounting system ensures that
the eye hook on the side of the suction strainer housing always remains freely accessible enabling
the actuation of the emptying device.
