This low-pressure water mist system effectively cools and smothers flames by displacing oxygen. With a low-pressure water mist (4-8 bar), this SprayJet requires only 20% of the water volume compared to conventional high-pressure systems or standard sprinklers. The water mist binds particles and toxic smoke gases and separates them from other areas. A reduction in toxic fumes of up to 75% is achieved, resulting in a safer environment. The low water volume also minimizes water damage, while the rapid cooling effect is achieved through maximum heat retention.
The SprayJet sled is ideal for tackling concealed, horizontal areas and cooling components such as Li-ion batteries, gearboxes or brake systems using the adiabatic cooling effect. In addition, the SprayJet HV acts as a flame arrester and helps to contain the spread of fire.
